Senior Android Developer - Alpharetta, GA

A growing mobile development team in Alpharetta is looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join them in enhancing and modernizing a toprated customer-facing mobile application.

This Android team is adding a new engineer as they continue to invest in the modernization of their native Kotlin application. Our client in Alpharetta, Georgia is actively expanding their mobile capabilities and delivering new features using a modern Android tech stack-including Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Coroutines, and MVVM architecture. They are committed to improving user experience, optimizing performance, and introducing forward-thinking mobile solutions.

This position will support multiple new initiatives, improve existing features, and help develop customer-focused mobile experiences. Projects include both enhancements to the primary customer-facing app and ongoing modernization efforts using the latest Android frameworks.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week onsite in Alpharetta, GA.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin
• Handson experience with Jetpack Compose
• Strong background with Coroutines and Flows for asynchronous programming
• Understanding of modern Android architecture patterns including MVVM
• Comfortable working in an agile environment

Location

Alpharetta, Georgia - Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
