Assistant Professor – Systematic and Constructive Theology Capital University seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor in Systematic and Constructive Theology to work in the Columbus, OH area. Responsibilities Develop and teach introductory and advanced graduate-level courses in Christian Theology. Design and implement comprehensive curricula incorporating a variety of theological perspectives and multi‑religious frameworks. Prepare students for Christian ministry in global contexts. Supervise student academic research, theses, and professional publications. Deliver instruction through in‑person, remote, and hybrid environments. Lead specialized seminars in theological studies. Manage administrative academic functions, including coordination of examination protocols, evaluations, and student registration processes. Maintain a standard instructional load of at least 12 credit hours per academic year, distributed across Fall, January, Spring, and summer terms. Utilize advanced scholarly knowledge to equip students for Christian ministry across a range of denominational and cultural settings. Compensation Wages offered: $60,010 per year. Minimum Educational Requirements Doctorate in Theology. Experience Two (2) years of experience as Dean of Studies, Teaching Faculty, or Professor of Religions. Experience includes: Teaching courses in religion and theology. Leading seminars in theology. Supervising student research & publications.
