ENTRY-LEVEL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATOR

Houston, TX (Galleria Area) | On-Site

Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

$22/hour

A growing Houston-based company is hiring an Entry-Level Investigator to join their team full-time. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in investigations, background screening, research, and corporate operations.

No prior investigative experience is required — the team is looking for individuals who are curious, detail-oriented, professional, and eager to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conducting background checks and investigative research
• Verifying employment history, references, criminal records, and other information
• Reviewing public records and online databases
• Communicating with employers, references, and contacts through email and phone calls
• Preparing organized written reports and documenting findings
• Managing multiple cases while staying accurate and organized
• Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Work Environment

This role is fully on-site in the Houston Galleria area and consists of approximately:

• 70% email communication and online research
• 30% phone communication
