SERVPRO of Elgin/DeKalb County/Aurora, is looking to hire technicians to work in our content cleaning warehouse in Aurora!
In this position, you will be making a difference each and every day. We are committed to making every type of property damage "Like it never even happened®!"
This job will include going to customers location to assist with the electronic inventorying of all content, and packing and boxing that content to bring back to our warehouse. Once at the warehouse, we clean all content with cleaning methods best suited to clean an individual piece of equipment. We clean and restore furniture, upholstered items, clothes/shoes, etc., all matter of content items, as well as full electronics restoration. It may also include the return of customer content back to the customers location once their building has been completely cleaned and rebuilt.
Key Responsibilities - Cleaning content that has been soiled due to water and fire damage
- Packing and handling content both within the warehouse and at property owners location
- Assisting with electronic inventory of content
- Communicate with management and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes.
- Perform production processes as directed.
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave work area and/or jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
Position Requirements Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to learn new cleaning procedures and follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
