Position: Cleaning Technician (Evening) - Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Department: Facility Operations
Reports to: Supervisor, Janitorial Operations
Location: Arizona Cardinals (Tempe, AZ) NOTE: Starting 2028, this role will be based at the new Arizona Cardinals Training Facility in north Phoenix, AZ.
Format: In-person
Schedule: Monday – Friday Evening hours ranging from a 4:00pm – 8:00pm start time. Hours may vary depending on business needs and the Arizona Cardinals Football team’s practice, game and event schedule. Additional weekends and holidays are required (high frequency between August – February).

Job Summary: The Cleaning Technician will be responsible for consistently ensuring our offices look professional, clean, presentable, and inviting; especially during routine cleaning and maintenance activities. This position sits on a team responsible for all the cleaning, disinfecting, detailing, and maintenance functions of the building while ensuring special attention to all team areas.
Primary Job Duties: The Cleaning Technician position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:
- Use the floor scrubber to clean and sanitize the tiled floors
- Use floor extractor to shampoo, clean, and sanitize the carpeted flooring
- Wash and sanitize steam and sauna rooms
- Wash and sanitize slip resistant mats
- Clean interior and exterior windows
- Clean and sanitize weight room rubber floor
- Polish and stain wood doors and furniture
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as remove shower heads and faucet aerators to clean, replace batteries on dispensers and automatic flushers and faucets, etc.
- Wash out trash and recycling bins.
- Power wash or scrub outdoor entryways
- Clean out drains and strainers
- Wash and clean interior and exterior walls
- Dust and wipe railings, door handles, tables, furniture, partitions, walls, etc.
- Clean glass cases, mirrors, and windows
- Disinfect all touch points throughout the facility
- Vacuum, clean, shampoo carpeted areas
- Sweep and mop hard surface flooring
- Clean and vacuum elevator and tracks
- Replenish bathroom supplies such as toilet tissue, seat covers, paper towels, soap, hand sanitizer, etc.
- Polish chrome and stainless-steel fixtures and touch points
- Deep clean bathrooms, café, and other public areas
- Maintain equipment and storage areas in good working conditions
- Clean and wash tile, walls, and flooring
- Inventory janitorial supplies and order as needed
- Respond to spills or other hazards that may cause injuries to people or property
- Additional duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: - Experience: At least one (1) year of janitorial experience
- Experience working in a professional sports environment preferred; but not required.
- Effective communication and the ability to always work well with others.
- Capacity to follow instructions and work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, walk up and down stairs and ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; hours may vary depending on business needs.
- Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
