Dental hygienist
Job Description Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, polishing, and preventive treatments.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and provide detailed oral hygiene instructions.
Take diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Monitor patients' oral health and assist in identifying signs of dental diseases.
Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
Ensure patient comfort throughout their hygiene appointment, creating a relaxing experience.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care.
Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health and reinforcing treatment plans.
full-time $45 - $50 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule Monday: 8 AM – 3 PM
Tuesday: 8 AM – 3 PM
Wednesday: 12 PM – 7 PM
Thursday: 8 AM – 3 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 1 PM
Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Kentucky.
Current CPR/AED certification.
A strong commitment to providing patient comfort and gentle care.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Proficiency in basic medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Prior experience as a Dental Hygienist (entry-level candidates with a strong passion for patient care are welcome).
Familiarity with specific dental software used in our practice.
Experience in a practice that emphasizes extended patient appointment times for thorough care.
