We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventive care and patient education. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health, detail-oriented, and skilled in building rapport with patients.
Dental hygienist
Job Description✔ Perform teeth cleanings, scaling, root planing, and periodontal assessments
✔ Take and interpret dental X-rays with precision
✔ Conduct oral cancer screenings and chart findings
✔ Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques
✔ Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide (as needed)
✔ Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
✔ Update patient records and document treatment plans
✔ Assist the dentist with procedures when required
✔ Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices
full-time $55 - $65 per hour

Requirements✔ Active NC Dental Hygiene License (RDH)
✔ Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene (Accredited Program)
✔ Proficiency in dental imaging & aseptic techniques
✔ Knowledge of HIPAA compliance & patient confidentiality
✔ Strong communication & patient education skills
⭐ Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar practice software
⭐ Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing
⭐ Nitrous oxide & local anesthesia certification
