About Honest Abe Roofing Honest Abe Roofing is one of the fastest-growing roofing companies in the country, with franchise locations across multiple markets and a high-performance in-house marketing team based in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Our marketing department operates more like an internal agency than a traditional home-services team. We manage paid media, creative production, websites, automation, and brand development across a growing multi-location franchise network.
We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who can help build and optimize websites, landing pages, and digital experiences that drive qualified leads and support our marketing campaigns.
Position Summary The Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing marketing websites and landing pages across our multi-location franchise network.
This role focuses on translating design concepts into clean, responsive, high-performing WordPress pages that support lead generation and campaign performance.
The ideal candidate understands both front-end development and marketing performance, and enjoys working closely with designers, marketers, and leadership to improve conversion rates and website performance.
What You'll Do Website Development - Build and maintain WordPress pages and templates across multiple franchise websites
- Implement landing pages for marketing campaigns and paid media
- Translate design concepts into responsive, pixel-accurate pages
- Ensure pages function properly across all modern browsers and devices
- Landing Page Development & CRO
- Build conversion-focused landing pages for paid advertising campaigns
- Optimize forms, call-to-actions, page structure, and user flow
- Implement A/B testing and conversion improvements
- Work closely with the marketing team to improve lead generation performance
Site Performance & Technical Optimization - Improve website performance including page speed, mobile usability, and technical SEO structure
- Maintain clean front-end code and organized page structures
- Identify and fix layout, responsiveness, and functionality issues
Tracking & Marketing Integration - Implement and maintain marketing tracking tools including:
- Google Tag Manager
- GA4
- Meta Pixel
- Conversion tracking scripts
- Ensure landing pages are properly integrated with CRM and lead capture systems
- Support marketing automation workflows and tracking validation
Collaboration with Creative & Marketing Teams - Work closely with the Senior Brand Designer to implement visual layouts and design systems
- Support the paid media team with rapid landing page deployment for campaigns
- Help the marketing team test new offers, layouts, and messaging structures
Ongoing Website Maintenance - Maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and site updates
- Troubleshoot front-end issues across multiple sites
- Keep marketing websites secure, functional, and up-to-date
What You Bring - 3+ years of experience in front-end web development
- Strong experience building and maintaining WordPress websites
- Solid proficiency in:
- Experience implementing responsive design across devices
- Familiarity with marketing landing pages and conversion-focused design
- Experience working with tracking scripts and marketing integrations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into functional pages
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications - Experience building custom WordPress themes or templates
- Experience with landing page testing and CRO improvements
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools
- Experience with marketing tracking tools such as GA4 and GTM
- Experience supporting paid media campaigns with landing page development
- Understanding of basic technical SEO best practices

Work Location This is an in-house role based in Terre Haute, Indiana, working directly with our internal marketing team.
Compensation Compensation will be based on experience, portfolio strength, and technical ability.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
