Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Mini-Ex & Skid Steer) for an immediate opening in Fort Pierce, FL.

• Pay: $25.00–$26.00/hour (based on experience)
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 2+ months

Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description:

Operate a Mini-Excavator and Skid Steer on a large industrial water treatment plant project. Responsibilities include assisting with the installation of concrete-encased duct banks, supporting underground utility work, and working alongside crews performing wire pulling and pipe bending. Candidates must be able to safely and efficiently operate equipment while maintaining a safe job site.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating Mini-Excavators and Skid Steers
• Experience working on heavy industrial or utility construction projects preferred
• Ability to work around underground utilities and concrete operations
• Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, and required PPE
• Must be able to perform physical job duties, including standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• No drug screen or background check required
