Summary

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Irrigation Manager to lead our irrigation division within a growing landscape company. This position plays a key role in managing daily operations, driving irrigation sales, and ensuring the highest quality of system design, installation, and maintenance for both residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all irrigation operations, including planning, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Manage and grow irrigation sales by building relationships with clients and providing professional recommendations.
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and irrigation layouts to ensure proper system design and implementation.
• Supervise, train, and support irrigation technicians and field staff.
• Monitor system performance and water efficiency; make adjustments for optimal results.
• Estimate materials, labor, and project costs; prepare proposals and bids.
• Coordinate with landscape design, construction, and maintenance teams to deliver seamless project execution.
• Maintain detailed service records, order supplies, and manage inventory.
• Oversee seasonal start-ups, shutdowns, and winterization.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety practices, and local codes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in irrigation system management, installation, and service within the landscaping industry.
• Proven success in irrigation sales, estimating, and customer relations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans.
• In-depth knowledge of irrigation systems, components, pumps, and controllers.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Certification (CIC, CLIA, or equivalent) a plus.
