Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to coordinate the care of ill and injured workers, ensuring a safe and timely return to work. This role includes collaborating with Human Resources and other departments to support medical leaves and compliance with health standards, providing health coaching, and managing the operations of the site health center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate care and assessments for returning employees after medical leaves.
  • Engage with medical resources and conduct virtual health screenings.
  • Collaborate with HR regarding FMLA, ADA, and drug testing protocols.
  • Support emergency response teams with basic and advanced life support.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health requirements and legal standards.
  • Conduct health screenings and facilitate medical qualification for new hires.
  • Participate in risk assessments and chemical clearance processes.
  • Provide health coaching and champion wellness programs.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and compliance with electronic medical records.
Qualifications
  • RN Nursing Degree or higher.
  • An unencumbered nursing license and ability to obtain a license if not currently licensed in the state.
  • CAOHC Certification.
Experience
  • Preferred experience in Occupational Health, ER, or Urgent Care.
Skills
  • Proficiency in medical protocols and occupational health practices.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Requirements
  • Flexible schedule preferred: 4 days per week at 5 hours per day, totaling 20 hours per week.
