Banner Childrens Specialists (BCS) is seeking a full time Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Surgeon to join our growing program in the Phoenix Metro Area with a pediatric population of 350,000+. We are seeking a candidate who will provide a wide range of surgical care for premature newborns to 18-year-old adolescents at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center (BTMC) in Glendale, AZ. Procedures include the full scope of laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, robotic, and open surgeries in the cervical, thoracic, and abdominal regions addressing the diseases of the respiratory, digestive, biliary, genitourinary, and dermatologic systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in working in a high-volume environment with several index cases. Our Pediatric Surgery team currently consists of two Pediatric Surgeons and seven Advanced Practice Providers working closely with other Pediatric Subspecialties such as Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Neurosurgery, Hematology/Oncology, and Cardiology.

Serving a pediatric population of 350,000+, Banner Childrens at Thunderbird (BTMC) in Mesa is a state-of-the-art, 890,000-square-foot acute-care facility is on 33 acres on the southwest corner of 55th Avenue and Thunderbird Road in Glendale, Arizona. A recently completed $290 million expansion project added a spacious and comfortable main lobby, a patient/family library, a heart and vascular center, state-of-the-art surgical suites and a 200-bed patient tower to the campus.
