ETL Developer
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Due Date: ASAP - Open until closed.
Location: Hybrid in Brooklyn, NY. Requirement is 3 days onsite. Local candidates only.

Overview :
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer who will support our NYC client with the design and implementation of complex data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into enterprise data warehouses and data lakes, primarily using Oracle Exadata, SQL/PL/SQL, and Informatica IICS. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong Oracle database experience and proven ability in performance tuning and data modeling.
Duties:

• Develop complex data pipelines to bring data into the Data Lake/Warehouse per business requirements.
• Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
• Design the architecture to perform data management activities i.e., data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) to enterprise data warehouse.
• Implement data management solutions using SQL, SQL procedures, data management tools like Informatica IICS on Oracle Exadata database.
• Design the overall architecture to Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data into data warehouse or data mart and data lake.
• Develop data models and ER diagrams for existing and new databases.

Maintain and improve existing processes.
Mandatory Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as ETL Developer.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle database full life cycle development including data modeling, database architecture, SQL and PL/SQL development, unit testing and support.
• 2+ years of experience in SQL and ETL processes, ETL and DB performance tuning.
• Expertise in PL/SQL Programming including Data Types, Cursors, Exception Handling Collections, Merge statements, Analytics Functions, Views, Materialized Views, Table Functions, Stored procedures, Functions and Packages, database triggers, mutating, Dynamic SQLs, External Tables, Performance Tuning, Object Programming, built in functions, joins, aggregate functions, Collections.
• Working experience with ETL tool (Preferred - Informatica - IICS)
• Passionate about complex data structures and problem solving.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher in related field
• Experience in public safety systems
