Monrovia Family Dentistry is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Monrovia. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level professional looking to build their career in a supportive, community-oriented dental practice.
TitleRegistered Dental Hygienist
Job Description Preventive Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including supra and subgingival scaling, root planing, and ultrasonic instrumentation.
Patient Assessment: Review and update medical histories, perform oral cancer screenings, and chart periodontal health/decay.
Radiography: Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays to assist the dentist in diagnosis.
Education: Motivate and instruct patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutritional habits for optimal oral hygiene.
Chairside Collaboration: Work closely with the Dentist during exams to transition findings and recommend treatment plans.
Sterilization & Maintenance: Ensure the hygiene operatory is sterilized according to OSHA standards and keep equipment maintained and ready for use.
part-time $40 - $50 per hour

Requirements Valid State License to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Valid X-ray certification.
Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional bedside manner.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining patient comfort.
