Northern Metropolitan Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team and support our mission of delivering professional, compassionate, and patient-centric care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nutrition services for residents and patients in our nursing and rehabilitation setting, helping to enhance health, recovery, and overall quality of life. The Registered Dietitian will perform detailed nutritional assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide medical nutrition therapy for patients with diverse and often complex clinical needs, including diabetes, renal disease, cardiac conditions, wounds, and malnutrition risk. You will work closely with nurses, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that nutrition care is fully integrated into each patient’s overall plan of care. Key responsibilities include monitoring oral intake, weight trends, lab values, and clinical indicators, and intervening promptly when nutritional risks are identified. You will educate patients, residents, and families on therapeutic diets, nutrition-related disease management, and lifestyle strategies that support long-term wellness. The role also includes participation in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure every patient receives coordinated, high-quality care. The Registered Dietitian will help review and guide menu planning to ensure meals are nutritionally appropriate, consistent with physician orders, and compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards. You will use the Electronic Health Record to document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner, and you will support survey readiness and quality improvement efforts within the facility. Northern Metropolitan Center offers an environment where compassionate care, professionalism, and dedicated service are central to daily practice. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled interdisciplinary team, contribute directly to impactful patient outcomes, and continue to grow professionally within a supportive healthcare organization. Candidates should be licensed or license-eligible as required by state regulations and hold current registration as a Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Prior experience in a clinical healthcare setting, especially in long-term care or rehabilitation, is preferred. Northern Metropolitan Center provides competitive compensation, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, life insurance, retirement savings options, and opportunities for ongoing learning and career development in a patient-focused environment.
