Plumber – Residential Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Residential Service Plumber to join our growing team. This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in occupied homes. The ideal candidate is professional, clean, customer-focused, and confident working independently while representing the company in the field.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates well with homeowners, and can solve problems efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, fixtures, water heaters, and gas systems
• Install and replace plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, and water heaters
• Perform drain cleaning and sewer services using proper equipment (jetters, augers, cameras preferred)
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues, solutions, and pricing
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance on job sites and in customer homes
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations
• Troubleshoot plumbing systems efficiently and provide long-term solutions—not temporary fixes
• Assist with small remodel plumbing work (kitchens, bathrooms, fixture upgrades)
• Follow all safety standards, local codes, and company procedures

Qualifications

• Proven experience in  residential service plumbing (not just new construction)
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own jobs and time
• Comfortable interacting with customers and explaining work in a clear, professional manner
• Experience with water heaters (tank and tankless), fixtures, and basic gas systems preferred
• Knowledge of drain cleaning and sewer inspection is a plus
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in typical service environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
