Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while serving patients in a Home Health setting in Albemarle, NC.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active North Carolina State Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
Minimum of 1 year of recent Occupational Therapy experience. Home health experience preferred. First-time travel therapists will be considered if experienced in home health.
Experience with home health documentation systems required. HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience preferred.
Clinical skills in wound care, IV/pleurx management, wound VAC familiarity, patient assessment, disease teaching, and OASIS documentation preferred.
Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required. Ability to travel to patient homes within assigned geographic area.

Typical caseload: approximately 6 patient visits per day.
Orientation: New employee orientation plus 5 days of unit-specific orientation.
Department culture: Team environment with departmental leadership support.
Technology/Equipment: Samsung Note 9 issued; HCHB electronic documentation required.
Scrub color: Navy blue. Parking: free.
