The VP of Marketing will serve as the firm’s senior-most marketing leader, responsible for shaping and executing a differentiated, growth-oriented marketing strategy that strengthens brand, accelerates demand, and deepens client engagement. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role serves as a strategic partner to firm leadership, translating business priorities into integrated marketing initiatives that drive measurable impact.
This is a highly visible role requiring both strategic acuity and operational rigor. The VP of Marketing will elevate the firm’s market presence; ensure consistency of brand and messaging; and build a modern, data-driven marketing function aligned to the firm’s growth ambitions.
The VP of Marketing will work closely with the senior leadership team, division leaders, and business development to create and execute strategic, data-driven marketing plans to support brand awareness, new-client acquisition, and client retention. This role requires deep expertise in strategic marketing, strong conceptual and communication skills, and a solid understanding of the healthcare and professional services landscape. A forward-looking perspective on market trends—and the ability to translate them into high-impact content and campaigns—is essential.
ECG’s Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Minneapolis, San Diego, or Washington, DC offices. We will consider remote hires but prefer an in-office presence through our hybrid model (two or three days per week).

The estimated base salary range for this job is $150,000–$350,000 annually. It represents a good faith estimate of the range that ECG reasonably expects to pay at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to years of experience, special skills, and market changes. This job is eligible to participate in ECG’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG’s pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG’s benefit plans, which include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) matching program, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
