Our Company:

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

• Fills Automated Dispensing System restocks for Facilities.
• Adds medications into the Automatic Dispensing System (ADS).
• Analyzes and adjusts quantities for different facility ADS machines.
• Assist with trouble shooting ADS issues.
• Organize setting up and prefill new ADS machines.
• Prepacks medications.
• Handle medication into blister card foils.
• Maintain active communication with PIC, Lead and pharmacy staff.
• Utilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter).
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Provide reports for the facility.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician required.
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
• Able to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problems.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
