We are looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Land O'Lakes. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting telecommunications and low-voltage infrastructure installations, upgrades, and maintenance. This is an on-site position requiring travel to various project sites as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecommunications and low-voltage systems, ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate with vendors for cabling, networking, camera systems, and access control to ensure seamless system integration.

• Perform structured cabling installations, including fiber-optic and copper systems, for network and telecom infrastructure.

• Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades for telecom equipment and related infrastructure.

• Collaborate with internal project managers and field technicians to meet project timelines and client expectations.

• Assist in building out infrastructure for new installations and expansions.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field promptly and effectively.

• Ensure compliance with company specifications and industry standards during all installations.

• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and project updates.

• Proven experience in telecommunications, particularly in telecom rooms, central offices, or carrier environments.
• Strong background in low-voltage systems, including access control, security systems, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling systems, including fiber-optic and copper installations.
• Familiarity with telecom equipment installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of CCTV and audio-visual systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work on-site, with potential overtime based on project needs.
