Part-Time Accountant (24 Hours/Week)

What You'll Do

• Process invoices and accounts payable transactions
• Prepare and issue checks
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end activities
• Support accrual and prepaid expense accounting processes
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and accounting
• Support annual audit preparation and auditor requests
• Review and manage employee expense reports
• Participate in accounting process improvements and special projects
• Work closely with leadership and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or a related finance role
• Experience processing invoices and managing payables
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Exposure to accrual-based accounting
• Experience with prepaid expenses, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Fixed asset accounting experience
• Audit preparation or audit support experience
• Experience using expense management or corporate credit card software
• Nonprofit accounting experience
