About the Role
The Company is seeking a President to spearhead the launch and growth of a new professional volleyball franchise. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the team's brand identity within the local and professional volleyball communities, as well as leading all aspects of marketing, revenue optimization, and volleyball operations. This pivotal role demands a proactive and adaptable leader with a strategic vision, capable of driving change and influencing decision-making at all levels. The President will oversee daily operations, including organizational leadership, financial oversight, and community and public relations, and will be the primary ambassador for the team. Candidates for the President position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for those who have served in a Vice President or General Manager role within a sports organization. A minimum of 10 years' experience in a professional, minor, or collegiate sports environment is required, with a strong background in sales, marketing, and administrative roles. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, particularly volleyball, and a proven track record in brand marketing, revenue generation, and fan engagement. Personal attributes such as excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams are essential. The role also demands a flexible schedule, the ability to work unusual hours, and a commitment to the demands of the sports industry.
