Production Operator Assistant

Nesco Resource is looking for production operator assistants to help support the production operators by ensuring they can remain at their workstation without interruption. Excellent full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent hire! Multiple openings on both day and night shift!

Pay:

• 1st Shift: $17.56/hour
• 3rd Shift: $18.56/hour

Hours:

• 1st Shift: 5:45am-6:00pm
• 3rd Shift: 5:45pm-6:00am

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport carts and materials between departments to keep production running smoothly
• Refill product and supplies at machines as needed
• Assist with inspecting products for defects and quality concerns
• Deliver product samples to the Quality Assurance (QA) department
• Remove scrap and empty trash to maintain a clean work area
• Support operators with washing, drying, trimming, and packaging processes when needed
• Help maintain continuous product flow from molding through finishing
• Move materials into and out of the production area
• Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean and prepared for shift changes
• Maintain dependable attendance and work effectively within a team environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• No prior experience required – training provided
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills are helpful
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Frequent lifting up to 20 lbs. and constant lifting up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
