Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time virtual role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized educational support as a Special Education Teacher for middle and high school students in a virtual academy setting. The position starts as soon as possible and continues through June 11, 2026, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week plus one hour of planning each day.
Responsibilities include managing a resource caseload for grades 6-12, focusing on both general and STEM subjects for grades 6-8 within the virtual platform. The role demands delivering individualized instruction tailored to students' unique learning needs in a fully online environment, collaborating with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive educational support.
